It’s Time for Spring Cleaning!!
We have all heard it. Shubenacadie Sam did not see his shadow. We are in for an early spring! Now it is time to get ready. Many of us start with the Spring Cleaning. Here are a few tips that will be helpful with this task. The more we can do to make it easier, the better it will be and the quicker it will be. That will leave us more time to lounge on the deck with a cup of coffee and a good book.
Spring Cleaning Tips
1 Work from the top down. Inside to out. This avoids getting the newly cleaned surfaces dirty again.
2 Invest in some good rubber gloves. It can protect your hands.
3 Just concentrate on a small area at a time. You can do one room at time or an area of a room. It helps break down the larger tasks into workable chores. ( this saves you from being overwhelmed!)
4 Use gadgets that can make the job easier such as shade dusters, mops that can extend and mops and buckets that have a squeeze mechanism.
5 Make yourself a checklist for each room. After each task, mark it done. (It feels good to see the chores crossed off)
6 Get your cleaning detergents, brooms, mops, buckets, gloves, step ladders and whatever you need together so you do not waste time looking around the house for those items.
Now that you are ready, turn on some good music that has a good beat and start that cleaning!
